This was what we enjoyed the most- the free space. The front desk staff were always professional, the grounds were kept nice and clean and were large and empty.
This was a fantastic alternative to the Disney World resorts, and offered much more. I ventured out of my Universal property hotel preference and decided to try something closer to Disney, as that’s where my sister and I wanted to go this trip. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this hotel. If I wasn't so tired during our trip, I would've spend the time at the desk to address this further but simply didn't have the energy to argue.Īll in all we had a great stay and this property met all our needs and we'd definitely recommend it to others. The intergrity around this decision and the way the staff completely dismissed the issue was a really poor reflection on the hotel management. My only complaint is when we booked there was not a parking fee mentioned and we felt like we had a complete bait and switch upon arrival with a surprise $15/day parking fee charged. We found that the back parking was actually closer to our room rather than battling it out for a space near the front entrance. Our room was only cleaned once but the staff on the floors were friendly and accomadating our fresh towel needs throughout our stay.Īs other reviews have mentioned, parking is tight but if you learn the exterior door closest to your elevator it may not be as bad as one would think. There is ample areas to sit and relax either indoors or outdoors. The pool was perfect for the purposes of our stay but a little small if you're planning on spending your entire stay at that one location.ĭue to remaining COVID procedures and I assume staffing issues, the restaurant/bar was to limited hours and days but while open had excellent food and service. The hotel was well maintained and very modern/new. The hotel is nestled away from the high traffic areas but in close proximity to everything that we needed and easy drive times to our main points of interest. We stayed here for an extended period of time while visiting for a volleyball tournament at the Orange County Convention Center and some leisure time at Sea World/Disney World.
